After being cut by the Cleveland Cavaliers, guard Markel Brown has signed overseas with Khimki Moscow.
International reporter David Pick was first with the news:
Brown is just 24 years old and has spent two seasons with the Brooklyn Nets prior to his time with the Cavs in the preseason.
Over two seasons with the Nets, Brown averaged 5.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. Brown will likely attempt to return to the NBA next season and will hope a season in Russia will boost his value.
