In four games with the Hornets, Weber is averaging 4.0 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.8 steals on 53.8% shooting from the field. He is only playing 8.5 minutes per game.
Weber’s second 10-day contract is expiring and the Hornets have liked what he has done in his short time in Charlotte. Briante spent time with the Golden State Warriors earlier in the season before his move to the Hornets.
He brings some grit on the defensive end and the ability to produce across the board which is something that appeals to the Hornets’ coaching staff and front office. It’s a well deserved reward for Weber who has bounced around over the last couple of seasons.
