Rangitoto forward Daniel Fotu has verbally committed to Saint Mary’s according to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman.
Fotu recently returned from a stint in America and announced he will be attending Saint Mary’s College for the 2017-18 season.
Saint Mary’s is an NCAA Division One college in America and has housed NBA players such as Patty Mills and Matthew Dellavedova.
Fotu will join fellow New Zealander Quinn Clinton who has also declared his commitment to the Gaels basketball program next year.
The 6-foot-9 small forward will look to top off his high school career with a National Championship as Rangitoto College prepare to win the title for a third straight year.
